A small corner café in Mitte where the espresso is properly pulled, the toast is made to order, and half the room is for sale in a pot.
The café
Half café, half greenhouse.
The Rabbit Café sits on a quiet corner of Strelitzer Straße, a few minutes from Bernauer Straße. It is the kind of place people walk past once and then come back to every week.
The kitchen leans Asian and Western at the same time — an egg sandwich next to a plate of French toast, matcha next to a flat white. Everything is made when you order it, which is why nothing arrives in thirty seconds.
The rest of the room is plants. Shelves of them, hanging over the tables, along the windows. Most of them are for sale.
Come for the coffee, leave with a plant.
What we serve
Korean-Western cooking, all made fresh.
Breakfast all day, warm dishes at lunch, and cake from our own counter.
